You know; I painted the truck black many years ago and I should have removed the mirrors then. However; I was still using it everyday and needed the extra look back. Now that I have it for a toy, I still wish I had the mirrors removed. The doors would have to be redone to fill the stupid holes, or I would have to find some funky little mirror that will mount on top of the piece that is on the door side. It is not easy, but I can still see those darn pesky 5.0 mustangs in those big "Dumbo Ears". That in itself is worth it.

This is my 1986 Chevy 1/2 ton with a 350 small Block, with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 625 cfm carb. The motor is a Chevy replacement motor with a Crane cam bumpstick. The transmission is a Jet T-700 with a 12 bolt posi 3:73 rear end. The truck has had a Belltech 3/4 drop and Enki rims (old Classic style), the tires are 15" ( a little old style size), but are 295/50s in the back and 245/ 60s in the front. Turning them over is no problem. The truck is painted a lipstick red with new trim and billet phantom grille from Stulle. The tonneu cover is from Extang and the bed is finished with a Rhino Lining. If you look at the rear of the cab the bed light was removed and a third brake light from a 97 nissan pickup mounted for those that don't look at the regular taillights. The interior is finished with new upholstery and billet dash trim. The shifter has been moved to the floor with a B&M shifter. The stereo is an Alpine in dash CD unit and EQ installed in the dash as well. The feed the Rockford amps and the six speakers. The subs are behind the seat in a isobaric setup to enhance sound to a nice mellow rumble. For a daily driver the truck is easy to drive and is quite quick.

i'd like to throw out a nomination, although i dont know if its totally legal or not. Ken won with his '77 C10, not the '82 Blazer. we've seen lots of in progress pics of the Blazer, and its one *****in piece of machinery. i'd like to nominate Ken, and the Blazer. Ken, do i need to do research for pics on that or do you think you can handle that one? :p
