FS - auto x-member for 1 ton
Came out of 71 longhorn. Has the extra brackets on the bottom for the wider frame (or at least that was my take on it). $40 + shipping. Thanks. Brian

How do ?
Can you please tell me how wide the frame is at that point......ie measure from the top of the crossmember to the bottem of the brace. Back then there were two frame sizes for the 1-ton. I'm in need of the larger. Thanks. brad moore

I learn something new every day! Didn't know there were two versions. I also didn't realize that the frame must widen in this area on the 1 tons (the frame channels aren't parallel top to bottom). The one (front?) measurement is 7" and the other (rear) is 7 1/2". I'm thinking that the frame rails must get taller as they go towards the back (but I may have this backwards). Brian
