Dean, if you look on my thread on parts board under blazer for sale. You can kind of see the skid plate, it takes another crossmember to mount it too.

Those are great. Would it be possible to get a few more of that skid plate and extra crossmember? Thanks!

Yes I know. I picked up a few of the extra crossmembers and I'm going to see if I can get one installed.

Another reason I need the pics of your blazer is I have two sets of pics. And the plate is installed differently in both....lol I'm hoping your blazer is in the original position....

Question 68 skidplate

Randy, did 68 have a diffent skidplate on them? The K-20 I got has a shorter one on it mounted on an extra crossmember. It looks to be OEM. Thanks Willis

Willis, I think the rockwells in 67-70 had different skid plates, like you say shorter ones.

Wink Short skidplate

Randy, this one has a NP-205 transfer case in it, odd. Thanks Willis

Those are the skid plates that I am reproducing and was selling on this board. Here is one on my truck. And they are identical in every way to OEM.

bolts

Not to be picky but why are some bolts facing up and some down and one looks loose or crooked?

Because it was hung just for the purposes of the pic so some are facing up and others down and some are crooked. If you also notice the plate has been blasted and coated black while the truck is showing rust. Trust me, it will be perfect when the truck is done.
If you looked even closer, the crossmember has no bolts in it at all.
Glad to see you are looking though.

Well if any wants to know what the other older type looks like here it is... I had one like this off a 1970 Chev. This is the shorter version.
