? Federal Excess Tax ?
I am building my first 4x4, 1970 GMC, and bought some 33 inch tires for it. I was charged $3.85 Federal Excess Tax on each one. What's the deal with this tax? I thought it was for big money a$$e$ driving Ferraris and Porches.
