Time for a road trip....Check!

Well, Its time to take the beast on a little road trip. We have a wedding to go to in the Texas hill country (120miles) this afternoon. Why do people plan weddings outdoors in the afternoon in June in Texas?? (My wifes family).

Anyway it is a beautifull drive west on highway 29 through Burnett, LLano and then on to Mason. Nice winding roads, Bucannan Lake, some small towns...just a great drive.

Sunday we will be going to the Llano river for some sun, BBQ, water and suds. It is a secluded part of the river...have to have a truck to get back there...Sorry guys the lowrider trucks are no use here...there are some good size ruts to navigate through but, the pay off is great. I hope to have some new pics tomorrow of the truck by the river.
