Does the company who made the alarm not have a website? Maybe they have installation instructions on the site you can download.

If you dont know what you are looking at, you should have it professionally installed. Because if you try it and screw it up, they are gonna charge you a lot more to do it later.

okay, try and figure me this out.
i got the alarm working perfect(besides putting my interior back together), so that that you nay sayers. but the only problem i'm having is with my door lock actuators. everytime i arm the alarm, they dont lock, and everytime i disarm it, they dont unlock. i dont believe i need a relay, but i could be wrong. |

you should be able to get them at your friend's car audio install shop.
terminal 30-- +12v terminal 85-- +12v terminal 86-- -(lock or unlock output from alarm) terminal 87-- +output to lock or unlock wire in truck terminal 87a-- not used |

so the termial 87- goes to the "+" of the actuator? and the "-" wire needs to be grounded. where should i ground it at? so it should be like this: terminal 86- "-" lock output from alarm terminal 87- "+" lock output from actuator doest that sound right? |

Ive supervised a few alarm installs and they have to have them relays for the acutator one to lock and other the unlock right? Cause on all the acuators ive seen one does lock other does unlock.

did you add the actuators yourself? If so disregard my wiring directions as you will need to wire it differently!

Take it to the shop your friend works for and have them do it. Then if soemthing goes wrong you can take it back to them and have them fix it. It would save a lot of time and heartache.
