C-series Front crossmember and suspension swap question
Is it possible to swap a coil spring front suspension assembly from a ’65 Chevy into a ’60 Chevy? Upon initial inspection, I noticed that the ’60 has boxed frame rails which could make the swap more difficult. But my main concern is; are there any major fitment issues that would prevent installation of the late model crossmember into the Apache?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

YES it is possible I switched my 62 with a 64 front suspension. The only thing is only about 1/2 the holes will line up the other half are off about 1/4" and one on each side has to be redrilled. I used my 62 steering linkages just had to adjust the toe in a little bit. It is kinda tricky with the boxed in frame but they left it open on the one side of the frame rails to reach the 7 bolts on each side. I swtiched mine with the motor still in!!! I would advise to take it out if possible it would be alto easier but not impossible to do with it still in. Good luck.
