Q-jet accelerator pump
So i'm in the process of rebuilding my Q-jet, and it's time to look at the accelerator pump. I take off the piston retaining spring and notice the piston retainer (plastic) is broken where the spring rests. So, where can i get a new one? I know i can't get one through a GM dealer, so it'll have to be aftermarket.

Duh, Bill is right. They do come in the kit. All you have to do is put your spring on it. I don't know where my mind was at.
A float won't come with the kit though. I highly recommend installing a new float. They can be bought at just about any autoparts store. |

Well, mine only came with the accelerator pump piston, not the whole pump (rod, spring&retainer, piston&retainer). Anyway, after calling a few places i ordered a new pump from Edelbrock because they're the easiest to get.
[edit] Yes a new float is on the way too. Thanks, -Axle
