antenna delete????
Are there cowlings out there with no antenna hole ar do they have a plate to stick in it. i don't have a welder to fill the hole with, and need to do something because i have a french antenna where the fuel filler was..Thanks

If you can find the cowl off a truck that was radio delete, it will not have an antenna hole. I had one, but sold it for some good money at the portland swap meet last spring.

They're pretty rare and usually bring some pretty good $$$ but they're out there.

Then it might just be cheaper to have it welded? i guess i'll go that route i know what kind a price rare stuff can bring. and i not looking to spend a whole lot on this part. if i was restoring to original then i would. thanks for the input

i actually have one from a 69 but someone drilled a hole in it for an antenna

I've got one, but it is going on my blazer. Before I found it I was planning on welding the hole, shouldn't be too hard.

Well found a guy at work with a welder, and I now have no more antenna hole. i also stripped it down to bare metal (Aircraft paint stripper....great stuff). and reprimed. thanks again for your inputs
