67 GMC C15 Big Block Option?
Does anyone know if there was an option for a Big Block 396 in a '67 GMC C15? I'm working on my project and am trying to decide whether to make the engine compartment look stock or to just chrome the motor out. Thanks!!

To the best of my knowledge, no big block was available in Chevy or GMC in 1967. 68 was the first year and only available in 2wd. I could be wrong.......

Thank you for confirming that. I didn't think so but I suppose I could still make the 454 look "factory" original. Everyone's got chrome. Perhaps throw a couple of "INVADER 427" decals on the valve covers.

427's never came in trucks either...396 from '68-'69, 402 - '70-'72, 454 - '73+
