Are those projected numbers or actual Dyno numbers, that will make the difference.

dyno

those numbers are dynoed numbers and no it is totally stock in the body department and the only real thin i have added is the engine and the traction bars the rearend is also a poistrac so that will have a little to do with it

I say it will run mid 13's . Depending on the power you can get to the ground and if it is a posi rearend wich will help get the power to the ground equally

High 13's - low 14's But tranny, has alot to do with it. What size converter do you have? And is that a motor dyno or rear wheel dyno?

I would say 12's...a friend of mine put a ZZ4 into a 65 chevy SWB, and he put down a Nitrous-Fed LT1 Camaro! He never ran it at the track, because the thing simply COULD NOT hook.

No way 12's without nitrous. That motor running "all motor" will go low 14's high 13's now that i know its flywhell hp and not rwhp. Yea the pois will help and so will the 3.73's for sure but...theres no way that tuck will hit 12's unless its got a shot on it lol. ((no offence to the owner)) Sounds like a SWEET! truck. You better run it soon i wnna see some times man!

Pipe dreams!

Good luck with your race against the clock! I think any faster than 14 sec. would be a pipe dream,by all means post a copy of your times and prove me wrong. Burn lots of rubber and run aviation fuel (jet fuel) for the best run. I hope you have good slicks,so you do not spin on launch. RUN HARD AND FAST!

Probably about high to mid 14's depending on traction and skills.
BTW: You need about 500hp to get to the 12's in a pickup.

On radials it will do somthing in the 14's, with slicks and fantastic traction you'll get to 13.7 at best, to go lower needs more power.

I can't wait to see these times......tell me about the flip-kit, rear leafs and four link? That should really hook. We want the track slips scanned it so we can see all the details

Seeing the amount of variance in the times everyone is saying has got me wondering....Who thinks my time is BS? 14.51 @ 91.01 with about 300 HP or so. Stock 350 8.5:1 with a 268H Comp cam. I'm not trying to start anything, but seeing that this guy says he has 415 HP and all he can get is high 13 seems funny. Any comments?

I have a comment: I love your avatar!

When I had my 383/450hp my best time was a 14.20 but keep in mind I had a 3.42posi and really ****ty pepboys 275/60/15 tires. Anyone who's ever actually gone to the track and ran their truck knows that all the power in the world doesn't equal low times. Your time represents an excellent run and I guess pretty decent 60ft times. I have to question sub 14 second times (SBC) without the use of either slicks or some type of traction device. I wish we could all meet at Atco raceway (NJ) tonight and find out what's working for everyone.

Yeah my 60' on that run was a 2.07. It just came off the line good. I want to get some 26" ET Streets and see how low I can get. I really need to tune my carb, as it is a Edel 1406 with elec choke that is calibrated for mileage. There may be a tenth or 2 in that.

Another big factor is altitude. Look at Cochino's time. He has a ZZ4 motor and cannot get into the 14's. I think he would be in the low 14 or high 13's if he would run it down here.
