Nick,
the floor is metal, no holes other than what was drilled for the saddle tanks.
it has surface rust I will take some photo's of it later today.

I am about 45 miles north of sacramento.
I will clean the parts out of the bed and get some pics of the floor.

sorry for the delay in getting the pics of the floor of the bed.
as you can see it's solid, but with some surface rust. It had a layer of
leaves in it.
