Suburban frame vs short bed frame?
How different in length is a suburban frame from a shortbed frame? Has anyone ever used a suburban frame for a pickup. I have a chance to get a 72 suburban with bigblock and disc brakes, everything I want for my 67 shortbed. How difficult would it be to set the truck up on the suburban frame?

Not a match at all. A 67-72 burb has a 127" wheelbase, your shortbed has 115". To top that off, the body mounts and rear frame rail ends are different. If you're looking to get the BB and disk brakes on your 67, it would be wiser IMO to swap those pieces over to the 67 rather than to try and make your 67 body fit the burb frame.

A few weeks ago, someone asked about swapping LWB frame and Suburban frames. Just in case you don't already have your answer, you might do a search. The rails may be the same, but with the different body mounts, the differences stack up.
