Tailgate and windshield
How do I take the tailgate off my 72? I can't figure it out for the life of me. Also, is there an easy way to remove the windshield? I need to get them both off so the tub can go to the body shop next week. Please help!

You need to unbolt one of the trunions at the bottom corner of your tailgate. Either side will work. Once that is done then you pull the links backwards to allign the slotted hole with the studs on the top of the tailgate and slop the links loose. lift the bottom corner of the tailgate about 3/4 the way up the bed side and you should be able pull that side free.
