Spicer 372. This ujoint has held up better than two other replacements. I like it.

I went to carquest and picked one up, no trouble from it yet, but it hasn't been in there very long, maybe 7 months or so. Been through hell though, VERY dusty gravel roads, off-roading, and a few thousand miles. But the Dana/spicer joints are the best and the strongest.

When I used the 10 bolt driveshaft from the 82 Blazer in my 77 equipped with a 12 bolt, I had to use a combination joint from NAPA. Amazingly, the 12 bolt had smaller caps and cross than the 10 bolt driveshaft u-joint.

basically i got a good deal on it and i liked the idea of going with a locker. as long as i'm accelerating the axles are fully locked together. no clutches to slip or wear out. i'm not saying that would happen with an eaton but i got a good deal on it so i decided to use it.

NAPA has the joints in stock. Not sure about other stores. They can probably order them though.

My NAPA guy didn't have one in stock, so he made one from 2 others, & only charged me for one.

You got the 10bolt...swap the yokes. It takes a different seal but they are readily available. bring both the 10 and 12's seal. They need to get the numbers off each and then they can cross refference it. The 10 uses a stronger u-joint. Go to NAPA. Autozone people are too stupid to do this.
