6.2 to 350 converstion
I blew the 6.2 motor in my burb. I need to throw in another motor till I can get the 6.2 rebuilt. Since I have this 350 sitt'n in my garage.... Id like to throw that in. The truck has a 700r4, so as far as I know... It should be a direct replacement... ???
has anyone done this?

i have converted a couple of them over to 350,s the 6.2 and 350 use the same mounts and the 6.2 has a chevy bolt pattern for the tranny, the 5.7 uses the olds bellhousing, the exhuast should bolt up if i remember correctly and you can use the power wire for the injector on the 6.2 for the dist. on the 350 if you need to know more let me know my dually was a 6.2 but know i have a 350 in it which will sone be a 454

the 6.2 has a Chevrolet bellhousing bolt pattern. The engine mounts are the same as any 350. Even the 350 exhaust manifolds will bolt to the 6.2 exhaust system.
Good luck, Keith
