my truck isnt getting any fuel i blew compressed ait through the lines from the tank side of the valve and it wasnt blocked and the lines are open in the tank too waht could it be?

bad pump? not sucking up any fuel.....

something inside the tank, clogging the pickup...

First you need to give more info. Do you have duel tanks? Single? Have you checked your fuel pump? Connect a rubber line to the inlet line to your pump, put the other end in a gas can. If it runs, you have a bad tank pickup, with a single tank. If you have duel tanks and it runs, now you start at the switch valve troubleshooting. Turn your ignition switch to on, not start, switch from L and R tank, you should hear a click, if yes; your valve is good. If no, your switch or valve is bad. Although you should be able to run off the main tank (r or l). So now I'm thinking you either have a bad sending unit/pickup at the tank, or a bad fuel pump. Post what you find. David

i agree with this as i have had problems previously with botht he fuel pump and sending unit... also the sending unit in my truck is a bit sporadic right now, the gas gauge bounces between F and E on bumpy roads and at least 1/2 on normal roads...

i have dual tanks heres what i did i bought a vacuum pump and tested all of the lines at the valve it turned out that it was the valve i didnt buy it yet but napa has it for 82 bucks in case anyone needs one the plug is exactly the same im probabally gonna pick it up this weekends but for now i just bypassed the valve for my left tank and im just running off of that one
