longhorn man...i need help again
i think you helped me with this before but it might have been crazy L (one of the longhorn guys) there are 2 different sizes of spindle in 81 for a light and heavy 1/2. what are the 2 sizes and on what part do i measure, the widest???thanks for the help

the thickness of the rotor is 1" on the light version, & 1 1/4" on the heavy. Im not sure about diffs in the balljoints, but if you use all of the corresponding parts on the swap, you should be able to use either setup. Best of luck,crazyL

1.381 inches, close enough. so those are the same as 71-80 spindles and i can use the 6 lug disc rotors.

Yup, 1.381 is close enough.....i think the 1.250 is a minimum thickness, when doing brakes. crazyL
