fuel screen

hey everyone, i gotta problem. i have an 88 k35 with a 454. i am in the process of changing the tbi to a carb. all is working out except for some fuel tank issues. it turns out that chevy made a few 1 tons from 88-90 that had carbs on them. so i found a sending unit out of jc whitney that will work. but nobody, and i mean nobody, can find me pickup screen for it. this is all i need to finish my truck and put i back on the street. im kinda going insane because its been sitting for a year now and im so close to the end. any help on were i can get a pickup screen would be great. ive tried all major parts dealers in my area and searched the net. if i have to ill go to a chevy dealer, but id rather not. thanx

the 80-90 4bbl had elc fuel pumps on them you can get the straner at o'reillys auto for round $5.00
if the hanger you have does not have the pump on it you can use one off of
an 87 model http://www.oreillyauto.com/B2C/vehicle.ecatalog
