Aftermarket Overdrive.........????
Anyone know of a company like gear vendors that sells overdrive units to bolt on to the back of a transfer case?? or better yet anyone have one they want to selll??

I have a gear vendors and it was $2200 but I think US gear makes one. There are some differences like the US gear you can't shift on over 35mph. I believe it is much less money though.

Advance Adapters makes an overdrive unit called the Ranger III that bolts between the bellhousing and tranny for GM SM465's and other manual transmissions (no autos tho), so you could use it in either a 4wd or 2wd. It basically acts like a gear splitter, and will offer a 27% overdrive when engaged in 4th gear. Cost: $1300 new. I asked about them here and on Pirate4x4, and no one seems to have even heard of them, let alone them being used in a truck.
