hubs
was wondering if the front hubs on my d44 should seperate from the rotors? they so rusted together cant tell. i would think they would but banged and banged and not coming apart. i got the studs out. any suggestions? these pressed in? i assume i need these seperated to get rotors turned?

The wheel studs and the rust should be the only things holding the hub on. You shouldn't have to seperate them to get the rotors turned, but I haven't done that in a long time...

They should be able to turn them with the rotors on the hubs. New rotors are only about $30 each at autozone, if that.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |

yeah i got them apart now just was making sure. looks like needed to anyway as just measured and they 1.19 and says minimum of 1.21 so need new rotors anyway. hey jim yeah i just went to autozone.com and ordered some for delivery since there no autozones round here. was only 24.00 each so better than turning anyway as wanted 10.00 ea to turn. thanks for info
