spark plug gap
does anyone know the recommended spark plug gap for an '88 K5 w/ 350? I looked in the owner's manual and found nothing.

.045" seems to work in HEI's. If it were mine, I'd gap it @ .045" in spite of what a manual may say.

If its the smaller new style distributor its .035 Most HEIs are .045

It should be listed on the sticker under the hood with all the other smog info on the radiator cover.
