Ebay prices suck!!!!!!!!!!11
I bought my blazer off of ebay last for 7000.00 and put 3100.00 more into it. I tried to sell it on ebay last week and it bidded tro 3500.00. I hope it's just the time of the year. AM going to make one last attempt tosell it. Anyone have any ideas? It is a really solid body and needs no structural work. Comes with both tops and all running gear work is done. Someone make me a serious offer. I can see I am going to loose money but I cannot take that kind of beating. We are breaking ground next month for the new house and I have to get e truck. I am driving it everyday. Thanks, moodyholler PS(ther's a thread on it here, do a search)

The way you write out your ebay ad can determine how well it will sell. I have a friend who was a ebay junky, word your add right and you'd be amazed on how people react. Get them excited, be professional, lots of good pictures and your good as gold.

Just curious, but why does breaking ground on the house mean you have to sell your Blazer? Is it a money thing, or are you wanting a truck to haul stuff. If it's the latter, I'd look seriously at keeping the Blazer and buying a flat-bed trailer to pull behind it. I know I would be much happier with this scenario, expecially if I could get a reasonable offer on the Blazer. Sorry for the unsolicited advice.

Have to agree on the ad, but you are right on the time of year.
Right now weather conditions either keep people outside or like Florida, on the run or rebuilding. Usually I wait till at least mid October to start selling.

This is a good time of year to get a deal on ebay. The spring is a better time to sell your Blazer. The classic convertible 4x4 is more desirable with the days getting longer and warmer. People are also thinking about the Holidays. I look for vehicles between now and Christmas for that reason.
I think if the Blazer was a cookie cuter main stream 4X4 it may be different. |

Remember tax time is when people get their refunds.

combination of things!!!
Need to sell blazer is a combination of things.
1. new house need truck to haul. 2.15 year old getting ready to drive(how much gas does that take?) 3.distance to work is tripling. Blazer is only transpo now. 4.tired of working on it with out garage. I have had four blazers one of each year. My first vehicle was a 70 307, 3 speed 4x4. Top would come off in April and not go back on until October. Then I had a 69 6cyl. 3 speed. A 71 350 Auto,4x4 then converted to 4x2. and now the 72 CST. Loaded up. I went hog wild this time and would rather have bought a 6 CYL, 3 speed one looking back. I also have my Uncles 71 long bed to restore once house is done. Just bought 39 Olds station wagon for a rod. Just too many projects and not enough time. Thanks for all the input I appreciate it. 7500.00 buys the blazer and all parts. moodyholler
