3.73 to 4.10 w/ traction

I'd like to change out my front and rear diffs to posi/locker including a gear change. Any ideas? Currently running 8.5 10 bolt with 3.73. Economically, 14 bolt, D60, or air lockers aren't feasible at the moment. Thanks, Chad.

Be thankful you have 3.73s, my 85 K5 had 3.08s! Anyway what size tires you going to run? That and off road use need to be factored into whether a good tight limited slip or locker is need for the rear. Since you'll have the diffs apart go with units that replace the open diff carrier(vice lunch box lockers).

I just added 35" BFG's and that's why I want to move to 4.10 gears. I'm on pavement the majority of the time and the offroading I do is mud, sand, etc., but no rock crawling or Moab-type stuff. I do occasionally have a boat behind me as well. So I guess I'm leaning towards a front and rear setup with good street manners, but the ability to get me out of a sticky situation when necessary. Thanks for the help, Chad.

What's your True trac gear ratio? Also, how much? Shipping? What was it used in? What shape is it in? Thanks, Chad.

The guy I bought it from was using w/4:10 so it should work with 4:10 ^ I think. It was in a K5 and looks to be in excellent condition. I will try and get some pics for you, my comp. at home is not working so It might take a few days. Asking $150 + mail
