Welcome Aboard!

I don't have any pics of one, but I'm wanting to get a ute bed for my '72, so I'll be watching to see what comes up.

Welcome to the board, and we'd love to see some pics of your truck!

Never seen a restored 67-72 with a utility body.

The '71 IH I'm picking up has one, but the PO is keeping it as part of the deal.

I have a utility bed that is coming off of a 70 GMC I bought. I have no interest in it, what so ever.

Anyone have a 1 ton (longhorn length) dually utility body they don't want?

Seriously though... speaking of work trucks, anyone have any pictures of flatbed designs, I'm going to have to design up a flatbed for the crewcab I guess... looking for ideas of stuff to incorporate.

1970wrktrk, not trying to hijack the thread, but flatbeds are kinda in the same family.

Baradium, there's an outfit near me called J&I Mfg that sells flatbeds that I have seen literally all over the country. They've got a wide variety, and have figured out most of the accessories/addons, too. I priced one a while back for the '69, but backed out. It was $800-$900 depending on options. Here's a pic from their website (sorry, it's mounted on a f**d).

Grendel, that figures. Just a little off my beat, or I'd be calling you.

Shipping is cheap... weighs about 675.00 pounds, can be shipped class 75.00 for about 225.00 to a terminal near you.

Flatbed will have to be cheap, at the price for the company to make one, I'd have more in the flatbed than the rest of the entire truck!

CA is tempting, but a bit far I don't know if it'd fit on the only trailer I have access to, to even pick it up from a terminal.

As far as the wrecker body, that's just cruel :p the last thing I need is to make this truck a wrecker! As awesome as a 1 ton 4x4 crewcab wrecker would be, it'd make it difficult to haul gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers.
