Door /Window question
I have Goodmark doors and recently bought new vent windows. There seems to be a gap between the rubber on the vent windows and the outside of the door. The vendor of the vent windows says that I need to bend in the top of the doors, but the old vent windows fit fine. Has anyone else had this problem ? If so, what did you do /
Thanks Bernie

Hi Bernie,
I said you can squeeze the inner and outer door some to make it tighter at the vent assembly. The tangs under the vent may have been spot welded to far a part. How do those new vent window assemblies measure up against the originals? Are they as thick at the division bar?

Thanks for the reply Les, I didn't want to trouble you again. The division bars are a bit smaller than the origonals, but the rubber parts seem to be lot smaller , there is a gap of around 1/8 of an inch between the rubber and the door skin.

I would suspect the seal, the assemblies come with those seals. Send me an email, I'll talk to Paul and we can compare the replacement seals we sell with what is in a new repo vent assembly.
