Need help with dash pad on 1974 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hi everyone!

Thinking about fixing my cracked dash. Can someone please tell me what's involved in replacing it? I see that the dash attaches with clips but I'm sure it won't be that easy to get out.

Also anyone have experience with the formed plastic dash caps?

OK should have searched forum first. I found some threads that describe the process and it sounds pretty simple. Did a dash on 78 Z8 once and that was a fairly nasty job.
