manual choke setup?
Ok its getting time now where I have to rev the engine for a minute in the morning to get her warmed up and idling nice. I have a manual choke, and I want to hook it up. I tried the other day without luck. Its a push/pull cable I mounted next to the ash tray. The problem is, I can't get it to open the choke fully after closing it. Is there some type of bracket I can mount off the carb to help? Right now the cable just comes out of the firewall and connects to the choke flap...

Kinda not exactly on that, but close: I suggest rigging a spring tensioner at your button if you don't have one, so you know you pushed it all the way in, ya know, where when you push it in, it springs out so you know its all the way, uh, off.
