3/4 ton members...question about late model wheel retro-fit
I was thinking about putting late model '04 Chevy/GMC 8-lugs on my '77 C-20. Is this possible, or is it only the '02 and earlier 8 lugs that will fit?
Thanks for the help, SC

From what I have seen in the 67-72 forum they should fit just fine. A lot of the C20 owners there are running them. I can't see why they wouldn't work on your 77....

I'll find out for you tommorow, I heard that if you have a full floating rear end you may need to get the wheels bored out a bit...
I've got a set of 05 steel wheels I can try on, and let you know.

Would you be willing to trade center caps with me?
I'm just storing the steel wheels for now, I lent my wheels to my grandfather becuase he needed new tires and wants to make a trip down south. I just bolted my alloy wheels to his truck and brought his steels home. Unfortunately, my center caps are for a Chevy, and I have a GMC, lol

All 8 lug Chevy wheels, steel and aluminum, have the same offset and hub center size, regardless of what model year they are. Ford did the different center hole thing.
