Air Bag Valves
OK, I've decided to piece my airbag system together. I've decided which bags and compressor to use, but I'm undecided on valves. I was wanting to go with manual valves to keep the cost down a little, but companies such as MIC have prices which would make it more cost-effective to go with an electric valve for a 3/8" air line. Basically, I'm asking for help in locating, pricing, and deciding on valves, both manual and electric. I would like to keep it as cost-effective as possible, but still get a good quality as this is my daily driver. Also, I would rather the electric valves so that I don't have to run airlines into my cab, but on the same note I don't want to spend $1000 just on valves.

Shop around on Ebay ... you can pick up 4 - 3/8" SMC valves for around $125-$150.

Well for a 3/8" electric valve. You shouldn't spend more than $40 a valve.
I've used pretty much every valve out there. SMC, GC, E Air, Parker, Airlift,etc.... I personally like the E (extreme) air valves or GC valves 250psi model. Both go for $35.00 a piece. There a pretty fast valve for only having a 3/8" port. Smc valves are also work really good. So it just comes to picking one. I know that E air valves are nitrogen cycle tested and if you have a problem Jim will replace them no questions asked. Hope that helps. Nic www.crazytalkcustoms.com |

Run electric valves over the manuals. You will be so much happier. Not to mention the install is a lot easier without having to run all thos lines in the cab.

Nic is right the extreme valves or the 250 gc are both great budget valves.

I sell the Extreme 450 and 250 valves and the GC valves both 1/2" ports. I sell the 450's for 55.00 each, the 250's for 40.00 each, the GC 450's for 65.00 and the GC 250's for 40.00. And shipping is free.

I seen a add in Truckin Godfather Customs, 3/8 valves for 29.00 and 1/2 for 39.00 Black Max 300 psi.
