Electrical question

Sometimes during idle and acceleration I get pulsing of the headlights/ taillights and instrument cluster. The voltage gauge occasionally sets 15-17 volts and fluctuates. I believe there is a slight chane in idle as well. Occasionally this can happen by using the ac/ heater fan on high. Has anyone experianced anything similar to this?

had that happen to me about a year ago....it was my alternator...might take the truck by an auto parts store and have it checked out real quick.

Hi, yes would agree check your alt. and also check your body ground ,should be one from battery to the fender ,that can cause voltage to fluctuate good luck Slim
