You can't bid, its buy it now only. Read the auction description. He's soliciting emails for parts, that he will put up for auction at the price you agree on.

I just bought a complete`86 Burb(-front doors,l/f fender,passenger high-back,&grille)for $250 and it`s still got good original paint.I`m willing to sell for$250,000.The guy I bought it from said he`d put the parts back on it if I split the money with him.Guess he could buy alot of parts that way,me too!

All I see is a buy it now price of US $1,000,000.00. Seems to me that ebay should shut this one down. If you do buy parts from him, you won't have any of the protections ebay offers because you will be making your deals outside of the ebay auction. I would avoid this deal.

I don't know how well they work, but they do have them. At least you can file a complaint and have a legal record of the transaction and agreement.

Ebay shut it down. I sent an email to them about it. I don't think he should be able to get around the seller fees if the rest of us can't. IF he wants to sell his crap, he should do it like the rest of us.

He's not getting out of sellers fees. He says "Once we decide on a price, I will put it up for auction with a buy it now of that price." No fee avoidance there. Just smart marketing skills.

Yep, thats the way I read it. He's trying to figure out what items to sell without having a bunch of auctions that close without bids.
