Edelbrock Carb.
Does anyone know where or who sells the bushing that goes on the throttle linkage to hook up accelerator on side of carb?
The bushing to take up space.

i think you have the accelerator rod hhoked up to the wrong hole in your carb.linkage. carb. linkage in the top hole(smaller hole)and your kickdown cable goes to the longer notched channel on the bottom. your parts house has a carb.fittings to hook up all style carbs in a universal kit.

I actually had to drill my carb out just a little to get the throttle linkage to bolt up.

Yeah i know what you mean for that top big hole,i always needed those to for carbs to,i finally went to the local nut and bolt house, and searched thru the rubber grommets until i found one that fit good, and bought a handful.I think there was also suppose to be a metal sleeve inbeetween the grommet,AAHHH just use zip ties and zip tie the throttle linkage to the carb-it will work(for a while)just keep some spares in the glove box.Remember when i was young once my moms 64 Impala accelerator return spring broke, she knew some of her sht from being around my dad for so long-he was a mechanic/hot rodder.anyhow we were on our way somewhere, she dug around in her purse found one of those bif fat rubber bands and used that,if i rmember right it was on their for a while(hey we were poor when her and my dad seperated)it was just me and ma,in a apartment surviving of her little job at a bank branch.didnt make much we ate lotsa mac n cheese, but id change nothing.i never went hungry,I was always outside getting in trouble, which mom always heard about from the apartment manager(he HATED me)and i HATED him, still do 20 years later,he was a 1st class jerk off.

I had to use a bungie cord one time...wrap it around the distributer and up to the throttle. Lasted a few months before I removed it.
