Post bed caps

I am woundering If anybody has purchased or tried to purchase bed caps? I am having a hard time finding ones to fit my '68 fleetside. Any ideas?

I just purchased a set of bed caps in aluminum diamond tread. I got them at the local trim place - no problems. They had both long bed and short bed in stock! Call around, you might be surprised. Oh yeah, it was about $80, if I remember correctly. I bought the tailgate cap too...$35 or so.

I have posted this question on this board and others with no answer. I have checked several major dealers who did searches with ALL available suppliers and nothing turned up. I have a stainless tailgate protector from www.putco.com but they told me they do not make matching bed caps earlier than 73'. I am only interested in a smooth finish so I guess I'll have to get it custom made at a machine shop. Keep us posted!
