where to get wheels?
Hi guys,
I have posted here once before, and now I have another question. My dad has a 84 c10....it is done up really nice, and now he is looking for wheels. I drive an import so I am not familiar where to buy truck wheels. If you guys could recomend a good site that he could look thru just to browse different wheels. He is looking for a 16 or 17" ralley style wheel. He is going for a staggered look and wants to have ~10" wide on the back....please let me know some good places to get wheels. Thanks. -Carson |

do you guys know anything about bonspeed wheels? My dad has found some that he likes that are made by bonspeed but I cannot find anywhere to buy them. When I search I am only coming up with pics of them, but I need a site/sites that you can buy these wheels. Thanks for any help.

I'd size and price some tires first, then figure out what size wheels to get. Like Ken said, it is easier to get 17's and you might find that the total package (tires and wheels) turns out to be cheaper.

Ok, go to www.streetsourcemagazine.com then go to where it says Community and go down to Owner Profiles (readers rides). As soon as you do that there should be a "sponsored by" Bonspeed. Click and you should be there.
I haven't bought anything there but it should give you an idea of the prices your looking for. |

What's he looking for? Jegs and summit carry tons of steel and aluminum wheels. American Racing has a ton also. Places like Boyd and Budnick can get you anything in billet as well as Colorado Customs.

my dad thinks he wants, 16-17" ralley wheels...but he is still looking around. He would like at least a 16" wheel, if not 17".

Tell him to go with 17's. There are a lot more choices in tire sizes, and the larger wheel will look much better on his truck.
Here are a couple of sources- http://www.stocktonwheel.com http://www.earlywheel.com/rally.html http://www.rallyamerica.com/ http://www.wheelvintiques.com/

Thanks for the links. I'll help him look around online this weekend. If anyone else has any links please post them in this thread because I will use this for reference.
