I saw a pic of your truck and thought it looked really cool. Do you have any more pics or info on your wheels, or mods on your truck?

Thanks

Yes, Here are a few pics. The wheels are 18x8 w/4" back spacing Boyd coddington Timeless 5 w/255-45-18 tires. The truck is lowered 4-6. Gas tank has been moved to rear and the gas filler behind tail light.

man, you read my mind about the front bumper, I think they look better with the bumpers on the front anyways. on the rear, how much more room do you have between your tires and the wheel wells? Think you could run a 295 or larger with your drop?

That is one sweet ride! Don't suppose you'd want to trade it for my rough and rusty one? I was wondering about the filler tube behind the taillight, since I'd love to do something like that. Would you provide any details on how you did it?

I still have alot of room. What difference would the 295 make? Would that be a taller or wider tire?

you need taller tires and slightly smaller wheels. that looks ghetto how it is now.

love the rest of the truck though...

a 295 would be wider and taller, espcailly since i'm wanting dubs (20 inch wheels) on the back.

I used one of those drill bits that is used for drilling holes for door knobs. Well, I can show you better than I can tell you.
This is underneath the truck.

Inside the bed.

SWEET A$$ truck.
I am sick of the big tire comments, do most people even realize you can't fit a rim that big on an import, and the big rim thing originated in the truck scene, HE!! even the new trucks and suv's come stock with 17,20, and the new 550hp Dodge is rumored to be sportin 22's. I guess some pepole hold on to the past to tight and can't embrace the future of truckin.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll have enough skill and patience to do half as good as work as you've done!

obviously twenty-inch rims won't fit on one of those little imports (i don't believe i ever said otherwise). but the idea is that it is so ghetto to put relatively large rims compared to the tire size on the thing.

i'm not surprised you own a honda

and nsane68...i have no problem with fatter tires...i just like the rims and tires to look NORMAL and not disproportional/ghetto...

btw, i don't dislike big tires, i dislike huge ass rims w/ skinny little tires on 'em

Yes I did use the LED bulbs and I also wired my backup lights up so that they would come on when I stop. I put the Red LED's in there also.

icknay Next time I decide to buy some tires I'll look you up to make sure you approve.

bada$$ dont take it as an attack or an insult...it was not meant to be either...i just become slightly annoyed and may come across as cynical when someone rips my head off for as kindly as possible expressing my opinion.

your truck is still one of the coolest '69s i've ever seen
