Dang,, That's bad news. Got a lot of illegals here too. They can't drive worth a s#*t. My cousin got hit by a car loaded with six illegal Guatamalans. None of them had papers and obviously no insurance. Hope you are OK.....

The car owner's insurance should really pay the claim. Don't let them tell you they don't have to. If they try to side step it just let your insurance company know. Your insurance company should pay on the claim and then go after them.

Thats chaps my a*# !!!..... Its bad enough that american citizens feel the need to break the rules , but its even worse when the person doesn't even belong in this country ... To me if has nothing to do with race .. Its about rules ... rules are what seperate us from primates

Sounds like my luck, do you have uninsured motorist coverage? I got hit by a soldier that didn't have insurance and could have cost me dearly if I didn't have it.

That's crazy! Makes me want to go to the border with a sniper rifle. I hope your feeling better. I'd go to the ER just to make sure there's no internal injuries.

Illegal aliens are foreigners who come across the border without permission (to stay).....they steal our jobs, social security numbers, have little to no respect for us or our personal belongings.

either you are waiting in the ER & using a laptop or you are not heeding our advice.
I recommend getting checked out! internal injuries are tricky. as for the truck, you may be suprised. when mine got hit back in Nov. I thought it would never come around. after they pulled the frame the gaps went back close to previous. I took it to the local Vo-Tech where they did it for free. but.....first you, then the truck

In California, of course, they want to give illegals a drivers license as long as they have a clean record. Did anyone think that being an illegal makes you a criminal? What the hell is happening to this politically correct nation when we have to look out for the rights of a@@holes who dont live here legally. I wish we could load em up and ship em out.

Damn illegals have more rights that a regular citizen these days. At any rate I'm sorry to see that damage to a really nice looking truck. As others have stated though, get in to see a doc. Injuries from a wreck can be tricky. I tell you that from experience. I thought I was fine too until the next day. Holey crap, I couldn't move at all. 2 years later and I still hurt.

just got back from er.the xrays showed everything still there.just internal bruizeing and pulled muscles and stuff.ive made up my mind to talk to a lawyer just so i dont get screwed.looking under it the frame rail looks pushed over.you can see bumper bent in between rails.and the rad.support is crooked busted fan shroud.
anybody else have this happen before will they total it if the frame is bent or try to straighten it.im going to put the ruler on it and my other 72 frame to see.

If the owner of the truck gave the driver (regardless of legal status) permission to drive then his insurance will cover it all. My kid gave someone without a liscense permision to drive and he totaled my car and ran into a building ($50,000 worth of damage) and the insurance covered it. If the owner of the other vehicle really has insurance and gave permission to drive your ok.

I'm really glad the x-rays showed no major problems. That doesn't mean you don't have soft tissue damage that can take weeks to show up. I bet your going to be a sore guy in the A.M. Take some pain killers and enjoy the race.
The frame horns may be bent and can be replaced or straightened, but you run the risk of having the frame spring. From the way it was hit, the frame can shift length wise. Kinda like a ladder, where one side is pushed back. Check your frame rivits and frame around them, you may see pealed paint or rust never seen before. |

It's great you weren't hurt badly, but that really stinks! I'd be so pissed.

he must have not been too bright thinking he could out run a truck that looked like that, granted it could be all bark and no bite, but i doubt it. glad to hear that there is no serious injurys and he was caught

You bent the wheel but you are not seriously hurt?? Wow, I am glad to hear you are Ok. Most vehicles I have seen with trashed wheels meant "lights out" for the drivers. The truck can be redone again..the important thing is that you are going to be fine.
