Cd Player Install Into 73-87 Truck Questions

I Just Bought An 87 Shortbed Truck Yesterday And Was Wanting To Put A Cd Player In It. How Much Cutting And On What Do I Have To Do To Get It To Fit In There? Is Has A Kenwood Am/fm Cass In It Now So I Don't Think The Wiring Would Be A Problem.

Any Help Or Pictures Would Be Appreciated.

Best and easiest place to put em is in the dash where the stock radio went (below the HVAC controls). You gotta cut the sheetmetal a little bit, and cut the plastic dash bezel. Try and center it so that the right side doesn't overlape the right side. To do that put it high up in that section. Here's what mine looks like.

You have to cut a little bit of metal in the dash and some plastic to get it to fit, but its really easy. Just make sure to secure it in back.
