What interior shade of brown/tan for 1976?

I can't seem to find the RPO sheet or build sheet anywhere . Does anyone know what GM called the interior color for 1976 and its trim #? Its like a light brown/tan color. The seats and headliner are vinyl, the doors and dash have the wood panel look to them. Trying to spruce up the interior and have it match as closely to factory as possible. Thanks

Well, looking in my 1976 GMC dealers Color & Trim book, it looks like it would have been called "Saddle". The RPO code is going to be based on what kind of seat it came with (i.e. bench or buckets) and what trim level you had (i.e. Sierra, Sierra Grande, High Sierra, Sierra Classic). Based on what the chart has in the book for GMC's it would be VSS1, XSS2, LSS1, XSS2, or NSS1. Just looking at it, the SS must designate the color because the other interior colors follow the same format, but with different letters (Blue = DD, Green = GG, Red = RR).

If I'm reading this book wrong, maybe someone with more knowledge will correct me.

Mine looks a lighter shade then yours. Maybe I can get a pic. I'm in Marana.

I got bench seats. They seem to be rather plain vinyl (and worn out! )

The RPO code on my 79 is 62D which corresponds to "camel special custom" interior color. I have an incorrect 77 woodgrain dash currently installed but see if this is what you are looking for.

Here's the color I'm looking for. The carpet is in really sad shape. I'd like to get as close to orginal as possible.
