3/4 ton axles or not
My blazer now has drums all around and I was looking to get discs in the front. I have axles from a 3/4 ton 77 chevy truck with discs in the front and 14bff in the back. My only question is can I find 8 hole 15" rims to fit my 33x12.5's. and the drums in the rear . If so where. Thanks alot.

You shouldn't have a problem finding the wheels. Just about every wheel dealer should be able to get wheels that fit. Some styles may need to be machined out to fit over the larger style hubs - but I'm not sure if that is relevant for the '77 axle. You'll probably have to move the spring perches.
Swapping disc brake setup from a '71 or '72 1/2 ton should be fairly easy too. Your '70 should have open knuckels. I think there are after market kits available too.

I've read that I shouldn't have to move the perches on any 3/4 ton axle from 69-78. Am I wrong.

I am probably wrong. I thought that the frames on the later modeles were wider. There are a ton of K5's with 3/4 and 1 ton axels, so it is definately possible.

The front axle bolts right up. I have a '76 dana 44 in the front of mine.
I don't think the 14 bolt does though. I think you have to move the spring perches. |

You guys are right the front does but the 14bff doesn't, I just can't read I just have to read more carefully thanks for the info
