for the windshield washer? installed a universal pump on drivers side just behind hood hinge. the stream seems to have volume but barely gets upon the windshield. is there supposed to be nozzles on the end of the metal tubes in the cowl?

the metal tubes are the nozzles i know my stock pump will shoot a stream clear over the truck and land on the road behind it while driving if the nozzles arent aimed right

If you squeeze the end of the metal tubes just a bit, the stream will be forced to squert a bit harder and may solve the problem. Make sure the hoses are clear as they often get cloged with kaka over time. You can also change the sprey pattern if you squash the metal tube ends but not tooooo much. Many moons ago I had a car with an extra line that would squert the car next to it--especially if it was a convertable with girls in it.

Pour a 6 pack of your favorite beverage in that washer bottle and wait awhile... You'll see big improvements in pressure... Couldn't resist.

I just installed an aftermarket pump on mine and the stream is week, also. I'll try tweaking the nozzles.
