69 Chevy parts *2 more weeks & it's all off to the shredder*
1969 Chevy C-10, 2wd, swb, was a V8 automatic (originally manual).
Cab has alot of rust in the rockers, firewall and kickpanels. Passenger side door and fender have a big crease down them. Driver side is ok but door has some rust in the bottom. Bed is in fair condition with only 3 or 4 small holes where the floor meets the sides. Tailgate is pretty rough on the inside. The red hood is in pretty good shape but looks to have had hood pins installed in the past. There are 2 aluminum patches on the underside in the approximate area. $50obo (pick up only) The orange hood has hail damage and some very minor rust on the front lip. $50obo (pick up only) Trailing arms:$75 Bed: $150 http://www.thelawnornament.com/for%20sale/69Chevy/bed/ Driveshaft:$25 Also have an extra non-AC cab with one rocker already cut out and a hole in the roof from an antenna. I have new rockers that came with it when I bought it but never installed. $100obo I'm open to offers on all parts........ Last edited by jpony645; 04-18-2005 at 10:35 AM. |

Do you have any more photos of the bed?
Is the bed floor relatively flat? How much rust through on the inner walls? It appears to be a SWB true?

There is a link to more pics of the bed in my post. http://www.thelawnornament.com/for%20sale/69Chevy/bed/
It does have some waviness and pitting in the floor. Yes, it is a SWB. |

I was hoping this your bed would be in better shape than mine but ... I think I would simply be trading one set of problems for another. The dents don't look to bad. I have already beat some out of my bed that were worse.
I know another guy up here that doesn't have a bed at all. I will send him the link to the pictures. I would be a sin to send that bed to the salvage yard. There are so few of them left! Have you tried putting an ad in the Thrifty Nickle? or any news paper for that matter? Rick

I did back in the beginning. People said they'd come look or get it but no one ever showed up so I gave up on that option.
I'd rather someone be able to use it too but there hasn't been much interest in it. Last edited by jpony645; 03-07-2005 at 11:25 AM. |

Steering colum is gone.
The frame still has the cab, bed and suspension on it. I don't know when I could get time to do it. It's an hour from me. I'd rather just sell everything and be done with it. |

Would your 69 have front hubs to fit heavy duty drum brakes?
I have a 70 chev c10 that has shaved hubs and the rear bearing seal is exposed and lets water into the hub. There are standard heavy duty finned drums and the bearings seat all right, but the seals don't go into the hub more than 1/8 inch. So I am looking for a pair. If you tel;l me where to find the part number of what I need to measure, I will do so.
Or tell me where I can buy a pair. Thanks. email-ktztrk[/EMAIL] |

I noticed it has a rear sport bumper. Would you be willing to take a few bucks for the rear bumper brackets. If so PM me...

jpony645, If you still have this in June, I will try and come take a look. I might be able to use it for parts. I am currently overseas, but will be in Pensacola when I get back.

It is just as it sits in the pictures. I need one axle out of the rearend but everything else you see is up for grabs. 2 cabs, 2 hoods, both front fenders, both doors, bed, frame and wheels. Part of the suspension is/will be gone.
I have the grill, fan shroud, engine frame mounts, rt upper control arm, hood hinges all at my house. For $100, it isn't worth me driving out there(my mom's old house) and bringing it back. Gas would almost eat that up so I guess it'll just sit until someone decides they want it. |
