What is the ultimate image you want to convey? Custom? Stock? Sport?

Doesn't really matter,I have to use it,so it needs to be something I can work with.So whatever ya got is OK.Rollpans are out of the question though.
Well for now.

I want to get mine chromed, but I don't know if it's cheaper to have them blasted and chromed or if it's cheaper to buy the damned things chrome already. Anyone have any idea? I've never sent parts off for chroming before.

I would get the original bumpers rechromed. It's not cheeper but it's a nicer finish and the thick original bunmper.Don't blast the bumpers the chrome shop would have to polish all the balsting pits out before chroming.

Just cleean the mudd off of them. The chrome shop has to strip all the original chrome . I think you would be sanding for years. I am pretty sure theey just dip it and the old chrome come off.

I recently had the same dilemma as you and fixed it this weekend.
I replaced the orignal, white tounge hitch style bumper with a dress chrome bumper from Early Classic Enterprises. The bumper and all the hardware shipped was right around $290 and it installed in literally minutes. Luckily for me I can still tow with this truck because I removed the receiver style hitch on my Blazer and installed it on the Cheyenne at the same time I did the bumper.

I have that exact bumper I took off a 79 4x4,I thought it would look bigger than that on the truck.I might toss it on the 67.

i'll get a straight on pic level with the ground if you want. it does look a little "fat" on there. but it's not too bad.

Pardon the clutter but I didn't see any as purty as mine. This one would make a show truck out any 67-72 and it can be yours for free. Just come and get it. Please!!

I have one on a camper special that is a foot wide, and for a fleetside. No problem standing on it.

I could mount a gas grille on there for car shows. Maybe a few lawn chairs.
