I may have to find one of those somewhere as the rear one in my 3/4 ton frame has an extra brace on it where it attaches to the frame.

Do you think the 3/4 ton crossmember would work back there? Would the holes line up?

I think it would work. The 3/4 ton frames are made of a little thicker metal but thats all. are the same for the two frames same width and everything. If you need that crossmember i have a truck that the frame is bent in .the rear crossmember is in good shape.I am go in to pull the box on it and send the frame for scrap. If you want it u can have it.

I'll take it as well then. I really didn't want to cut up the 3/4 ton frame, even if I am giving it away.
Its a perfect frame off my truck that I got in Texas. No rust at all. It would make a great replacement for someone. |

Yep, 3/4 ton crossmember will work just fine, they are a wee bit thicker, but identical otherwise.
I might have the one from my 80 when I swapped a blazer tank into it using the factory blazer brackets (didn't work well, the tank sat at an angle) if you need it in a hurry.
