4000 is a bit much, I wouldn't go much higher than 2500 - 3000 (tops) myself
Just looked at your truck, if you traded, I'd say your truck plus 1000 on top of it or so

Yeah, I would have to agree. I think its a nice looking truck but the 4,000 Canadian seems a little bit steep.

That truck would go for about that here, in American dollars, assuming it has a decent interior, runs good, and isn't a rustbucket. The weird part is that the trucks are really common here, but everybody wants one.

Nice ride. Those wheels actually look good on it. I do imagine rust-free iron (or at least less-rusted iron) commands a premium in Canada, eh?

it has zero rust, 12 bolt rear with 2.73, mild 350 and would go for as low as $3500

Why dont you want yours anymore? You know exactly what has been done to it, why dont you just continue on your way with yours? That black one is decent, but more like 2500 decent. Its not THAT nice.

im a bit confused... what is it with you stepside guys and wanting to trade for something that looks a little bit nicer? you have no idea of the temperment of it, plus spending extra money. take that same money you would have spent on the "new" truck and put it into yours. yours can easily be made to look just as good as that one, and you already know its quirks.

the body on mine needs TONS of work. it needs fenders, hood, rockers, doors, cabcorners, cab supports, bed, it needs just about everything, electrical problems, tires, brakes, paint.

Well, if you know how deep your in with your truck and you want something a little further on. Then sure, go for it. I did that with my old truck. And now look at me, im cutting up an old show truck

Really couldn't tell ya what either are worth without looking at them in person but the truck sounds like it would bring $3500 in U.S. dollars..especially if it has a new motor that was built right, a descent interior to work with and no rust, here in the northwest it's a little hard to find one without rust for less than $4k. And I'd say the same thing as rOLF....if you want something a little further then it's your decision, thats what I basically did. I got one of the 4 ex-show(90's show trucks) that have been around town forever. I say of thats what you want go for it. might be a good deal
