who's done the LT-1 swap?

Looking for info on an Lt-1 swap into an 87 chevy truck...

swap

there is a site about the swap that i thought i had the link but guess i lost it,,,do a web search,,it was a good information site,,or jump over to the engine/drivetrain board...lot's of knowledge there too.....hope that help's a little..

Here's a pretty good link to Street and Performance install of an LT1 into a 83.
We are doing a LT1 into an S-10 right now and it is fairly simple process.
So far the headers and steering shaft have been our only tuff spot. But with a fullsize 87 chevy like yours that shouldn't be an issue.

I just did the swap in a malibu, so if you have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to ask. I can't guaruntee I will have an answer for them, but I may.

i clicked on to the link.....man...maybe i'm not as mechanically inclined as i once thought....

that looks like a nighmare!

that just gave me a headache lookin at that....what a wiring pain in the butt

(sure would be cool though)
