Thinking about taking out the vent window and putting a one piece window searched the board for some pics but didnt find any if anybody has any pics could you please post them. thanks

I Don't think you will find any. This has been discussed for yrs and yrs and I know of noone that has done it. They main reason is due to the curve of the glass. It has proven impossible to get one piece of glass to meet all the requirents (shape wise) that the two pieces do now.

Here's what it looks like. You won't find many pics because no one makes a one piece glass for the 73-87's. This was done with lexan....

I'm thinking it's one of those pesky "if you have enough money" things. Look at American Hot Rod. They get windows custom made all the time that have more complex curves than the 73-87 side windows. If you had the $$$ and could make a template, i'm sure you could find a glass company that could make some. Making a window chanel for the front of the door shouldn' t be hard. Big question is how much for the glass $$$$?

I think i'm going to pass on this idea looks like to much money and too many things involved. Just thought I would ask since it would be a perfect time to do since the blazer is going to the paint shop this week.

There were several memebers interested in this mod & even discussion about splitting the 'initial' mold costs to make door glass sets. Did anyone come up w/some solid financial numbers for the potential investors?

My thoughts exactly, its definatly possible but that money thing is a huge issue.
