Status update... The small things, oi!

Just been moving along at a snails pace here. Think I will actually finish today. I lost my job since I last posted, so of course that takes precedence. Fortunately, that is working out for the best. Looks like I will be moving up to the Portland area, and we are VERY excited to get to the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for a decent home on a few acres in Hillsboro- looks like that is in our price range.

Got TIRED of screwing with this stupid carter I rebuilt. Come to find out after hours of my work, that when I tried to bolt it up, the carb body was warped. I bought the carb off of ebay, last time I buy a used carb on ebay. Good news is, that I got a BRAND NEW Holly Street Avenger 670cfm for $225!!! Best deal I have had on ebay in a long time. That is $140 cheaper then Summit. I can't believe how much better the Holly is built then the Carter/Edelbrocks I have been used to. Should fire it up after I get some new manifold studs in and bolt her up.

Appt at the exhaust shop tomorrow, so I am really hoping to put the final nail in the coffin and get this project over.

You know, I just left the stainless rear brake line out for now... It already had a bracket to move the rear line up a few inches, so I just let it be. By the time I realized I forgot to switch it out, I already blead all of the lines.
