I would go with the 6". You can run both those sizes with the 4", or with some trimming 36" with no lift. I think there are some pics of my old truck with 6" lift and 35s in my pics link. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like the looks of big tires and little to no lift and fender trimming. On a POS truck or trail only is ok, but I'm not gonna trim the fenders on a nice truck just to clear some tires......

couldn't see any photos of truck with 35" only 36".what brand are the tyres and springs?if that is a 6" lift i had better not go for an 8" lift, the department of transport(rta)would put me off the road straight away!(over here they have regulations on how high or how low you can have a vehicle, which is 1/3 higher or lower than a standard vehicle, measured between the bump stops!they also have regulations on rim width and track width!)p.s-your truck looks tuff!!

both mine have 35s, look at the pics in the link. One has about 5" and the other approx. 3". I do plan on putting 6" springs on the chevy. The BFGs on the GMC do hit the fenders during suspension compression and turning.

After I posted that I went to my pics and saw that it wasn't there. I sold the truck and didn't want pictures to torment me. ( I REALLY should have kept it!!!) The two tone brown one has about 12-13" of lift. The springs were originally 12", but I took the bottom two out. The tires are about 38.5 or so. If your state measures from the bumpstops, lower the stops so they are within the limit.
