backspacing
will a set of 20s by 8.5 with a 5 1/8 backspacing work on my 72 truck 2wd tire size is 295/45R20 i would like them to tuck thank you

yup, you can tuck them. i have the exact same size with 275 45 20 tires, mines a 67 but i have 72 axles...........rat

I think that you will want a 9.5" rim with a 295 tire. 8.5 is too small. I know that people will say it works, but a 295/45R20 tire is really only designed to fit 9.5 to 11 rims.
